Ok so maybe Mrs. Howell was in menapausal years but she was still Marianne and Ginger's partner in crime and she knew they had no need for the bills and bills and bills and bills of money they had packed away in the suitcases (why they brought them on a three hour cruise I'll never understand!).
Little do you realize that this is how the expression "sponging off of somebody" came about when someone needed to borrow money. *wink*

What an odd question...I would guess they use leaves of some sort. In the Egyptian times they would wrap sticks in absorbant mossy plant type things and just sit in a designated menstrual hut for the appropriate amount of time. Maybe MA & G did that.

i could say Mary Ann. She seems extra all the way down to earth, and he or she is not afraid if she breaks a nail (unlike Ginger). Ginger concerns tooo lots if she isn't "made up" each and all the time!!

They used Always instead of Tampax. They got them from the producers of the show. They wanted Tampax but the producers only carried Always. And they got mad and beat the sh!t out of Gilligan.
