Why does my wife get so mad when I introduce her as my "future ex-wife"?
Is she afraid of the future?

POST SCRIPT: This question was a joke. My friend and I made a bet that more people would "lash out" at me than those that would "laugh with me".
We were talking about how so many people take things so seriously that they would insult others just to make their points. The other test joke was about "Oprah and the inventor of the Rubiks Cube being the reason for gas prices going up"..which is a hilarious notion, and most people that replied found it funny..but there was actually people that took it serious and attacked me for suggesting it.
Lighten up people..you are taking things WAY too seriously!

maybe you should introduce her instead as the future recipient of your alimony check, that might cheer her up!!!

You're RIGHT... -People SHOULD try to "lighten up" alittle. I agree. But remember this; there's been alot of fear, death & war mongering going on over the past # of years. And it's getting harder for alot of people to "blow things off"- when things look as though they're going to get worse, & they're already having trouble coping with things NOW... Hurting people "lash out"... -Laughing at them- rubs it in...

Probably because it's not funny. I'm sure she knows you're juking. If you're funny you can say anything. But if you're not really funny it's just annoying. You ever know a guy in school who keep saying stupid stuff thinking everything he say is like the funniest thing ever?
Humor is not for everybody. If you're off a little it just annoy people.
