They had them in Ancient Rome and Greece.

After the Dark Ages, it was Thomas Crapper in England as far as I know who invented it.

Which is why there is the word 'crap' for uh, crap.

Romans had a very unique plumbing
systems. All the palaces had them. The archeologist's have already discovered them.
