Regardless of how or why -----they did it for YOU, those soldiers who's lives are now lost to our great nation. Stop, if only for a day, and give thanks. Then you can get back to ranting tomorrow. K?! Besides, Memorial Day is not only about those soldier's lives lost in Iraq, but in all the wars gone before us that have afforded you the very freedom you now exercise by posting here this day.

Today is a day to pause a little longer than usual as you stand before your nation's flag and consider the red, white and blue waving before you, particularly the 'red.'

Today is a day to pause and appreciate the fact that you have a home to live in and you will go to sleep tonight without the fear of a government pounding your door down and yanking your naked butt out of bed only to march you down the street and shoot you in the back of your head while facing a building.

Today is a day to pause and consider whether or not you have done all you can do to better your life and the lives of those around you in the wake of all the freedom that lay at your finger's tips.

Today is a day to bow your head and say a prayer of thanksgiving to all the men, women and children even, who have courageously and selflessly sacrificed their lives so that you might not have to!

How can you live in this country when you bad mouth it? Why not move to Iraq and when you live in poverty and fear for your life of being killed by someone who doesn't share your religious beliefs then you , I'm sure, would cry about why didn't Bush send someone to save you.

Because He's the "Decider" in this Country... And He gets to "decide" on who shall live, & who shall go to Iraq... And THAT'S why it's important who WE "decide" gets to sit in His chair every four years... WE voted (twice) for the man who sent those thousands to their graves. So who's to "face" what?

I guess because he has to. Although I am sure he wouldn't agree that their deaths are needless. He is so stubborn and prideful to listen to anyone else.
