Sounding the seventh trumpet was good, waking the fallen was awesome and city of evil was terrible and the band knows that. in a interview m shadows said that the band will mix things up and you will here alot more old with some new screams from the rev. in the next cd due out late oct.

Waking The Fallen is the perfect mix of the 2 for me. I HATE City of Evil, and Sounding The Seventh Trumpet sounds like it was horribly engineered.
Waking The Fallen has a little of everything: Screaming, solos, breakdowns, and a little bit of singing not too much.

Both, :) It's just like any other band, they go through "phases" with new sounds in albums.
It reminds me of a line from Thousand Foot Krutch "If you still don't get it man, Forget it / By the time you accept us we'll be makin a new record"

Old. I completely agree ^ Waking The Fallen is my favorite....I really don't like their newer stuff much at all....
