I confront them, and ask them about it... I will tell them if they have a problem with me, then say it to my face now!!

If theyre my friend i confront them, if theyre a stranger i confront them, if theyre somebody that I know hates me i leave it alone.

It depends on what they are saying.
Mostly, I don't give a crap. If you think I'm interesting, then by all means, talk away.
But get too personal, hit a nerve, then I confront...

Depends on what they said. If it was serious, like he/she spreading rumors that I do something illegal I would definitely confront the person. Otherwise, I would just ignore him/her. Choose your battles carefully...most of them aren't really worth the effort in the end.

I will ask them why they did that to me. If I have done something wrong, I'll apologize and I expect the vice versa action, too.

if that person is someone i can careless about, i let them talk. every person who hates me only makes me stronger. and if that person is someone that actually matters to me, i confront them.
