took 4 advil then 2 hrs later 800 mg of motrin it was not on purpose should i go to the hospital what should i do?

your best bet: CALL THE HOSPITAL AND ASK THEN IF YOU WOULD BE OK. DOESNT SOUND TOO BAD, BUT I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOU

No need to go the the hospital. The maximum dose of motrin is 2400 mg per day. Motrin is advil. They are the same medicine.

Advil and Motrin are both ibuprofen. You took a total of 1300mg; you are safe. They give larger doses in the hospital. Also, being spaced out by 2 hrs, you don't have as much as your total in your system.

basically by using fact your 13, that does no longer propose you should be taking an adults dose! Advil is a very risky drug and you should no longer play video games with it! nevertheless being a new child (living at homestead) it is not as tricky as some think of this is to kill your Liver! that's why drugs having warning labels! try examining the labels, in the past you're taking the medicine!

You should be fine. Drink plenty of water to help wash it out of your system and by no means do not take any more. FYI You can not OD on aspirin. I know someone who tried all it did is make them sick and irated their stomach. My guess is there will be no problem. Both over the counter I would not worry. I take like 2000 mg of Ibuprofin a day for pain,four at a time.

Call poison control. It should be listed on the inside of the front cover of your phone book. No poison control number in your area? Then look for the phone number for urgent care or the hospital. I don't think you risk liver damage but if you're on other medications it might be a concern. You'll definitely have a belly ache.

Don't take anymore for at least 12 hrs, eat some food to coat your stomach. You should be fine. If you are still worried you can always call poison control and they will tell you what to do.

Call poison control and your doctor. Advil in that amount should not hurt you IF you do not have any other medical conditions. It has been known to cause stomach bleeding so I would check with your doctor ASAP.

It by now means is a good thing. Depending on your tolerance for ibuprofen you should probably be ok - I would recommend water - don't overdo it and definitely do not take anymore. Ultimately you may want to call a nurse hotline I know that my employer offers one thorugh my insurance - they always give great advice.

you are at your max, do not take any more for at least 48 hours, and if you get any ringing in your ears, or nausea, go to the hospital immediatly
