Ok, Im not going to bash them but are there any fans who actually like that band who think they are actually rock?

FOB & Panic Exclaimation Mark At The Disco is NOT rock. What the hell do you guys don't get!? Their pop but their more like bubblegum pop. The lead sing of Panic Exclaimation Mark At The Disco cant even sing. FOB's lead singer has improved tho.
Check out Paramore (whose record label is the same as FOB & Panic Exclaimation Mark At The Disco.) They are awesome!

There are so many types of rock, it's hard not to categorize Fall Out Boy as one of them, even if they are not heavy metal or classic rock... Some of there songs have a certain pop sound, I don't know how to explain it, but I understand why you don't think they are rock.. but they are.. alternative rock
I have to admit I'm a fan, I've listened to them since before they became so popular, and I'm just happy that they made it so big...=]

I like them pretty well.....I wasn't a very big fan at first, but I guess they grew on me. I guess I would consider them "rock", but they're a little on the pop side too....It doesn't really matter to me what genre they fit into, I just listen to stuff because I like it, not because it's "rock"...

i don't really think that the label is important. im sure they could care less about what you call them and i could too. call them whatever...all that matters is if you like the music. if you do then u do, if you don' then you don't. i personally like the earlier stuff a bit more like TTTYG. their sound has certainly changed and i think it is cool that they are willing to step out and try something new. i could care less what genre of music they are categorized by. music is music. why make it more complicated than that?

I wouldn't say they "rock" but they aren't that bad. well kinda now they are. but still i think there are some ppl out there who are way worse.

They used to be rock... now they are pretty overplayed... even pop-ish sounding.
