If you take out a "marker" in Las Vegas and don't repay. It's a felony, they put you in prison. In Nevada when you sign a marker it's the same as writing a check.

You will have to fill our a credit application anyway, and they check you out very carefully. So, it's not like they just let you walk up and request 10K .

"Some" hotel/casinos will cash a personal check(usually $200-$500), so long as you're staying at the hotel, the address on the check matches your ID and you have a major CC.

The only way to lose and have not pay is if you are playing with house credit or a 'marker'. You have to arrange for credit in advance and they probably will not provide more credit than you can handle. However, should you find yourself in a position where you have lost more than you can pay I believe you will be turned in to the authorities on charges similar to theft or fraud.

You put the money in before you play, you can't bet more than you have so therefore you can't lose more and have to pay, if you didn't put that in. Know what i mean?

You have to pay for the chips before you can play, so that can't actually happen.

They used to bury you in the desert. But now you have to pay first. So you'd rack up your credit card bills.

You gotta put up the loot first. Unless you are putting your house up on a bet, and that's just crazy.
