Only in some cities. Every year fewer cities allow them. The idiots ruined it for all of us who used to use them responsibly.

I live in New Hampshire and so it's not legal here either....but I lived 23 yrs in Kansas where it was legal and I miss buying and shooting off fireworks....it was such a special fun thing to do every year....as long as one was safe about it...and most were

I thought it was suppose to only be legal to use the kind that don't leave the ground except for the big ones shot off by professionals. However, on July 4th no one seems to be worried about being arrested for shooting off the smaller ones that go in the air because they are going off all over in town and out...

I stay in Minnesota. between the perfect issues Jesse the physique Ventura did as governor became into legalize firworks-lol. earlier then,some Minnesotans could bypass to neighboring Wisconsin and convey them returned illegally. i think of fireworks are cool, yet they don't thrill me as much as they did while i became right into a newborn 30 years in the past.

They're only legal on the week of the 4th of July, and New Years.

I think there is only one state in Aussie that sells them, the rest of us nope.
NZ also sells them.

Not in Illinois.....But Indiana it is. Problem is unless you buy them way early, They check at the state line.
