Best known is Sitting Bull (Tatanka Iyotake) of the Hunkpapa Sioux. Others include Kicking Bird, Rain-in-the-Face (bad translation of his name, which in Sioux means "his face is as ominous as an approaching storm"), Red Cloud, and the great Crazy Horse.

Sitting Bull (Lakota) is probably the most famous, Crazy Horse as well (also Lakota).

Edit: Lakota's were part of the Sioux
