PS. Wilbur Wood did it on 24-June-1969, picking up two wins in relief, but he's not in the Hall.
Can't find any instance of Eck, Wilhelm, or Fingers picking up two Ws on one day. No other Hall pitcher is renowned for relieving.

my guess would be a relief pitcher who worked both ends of a double header, and believe it or not i think i have heard this one before, and my guess would have to be hoyt wilhelm
