We're a species that loves to find easier ways to do things and rolling things is a pretty basic consept that would make things a lot easier. So if we couldn't figure out that rolling things is easy, then so many tools we use would probably be beyond our grasp. So if you believe in evolution, we would probably be unevolved without the wheel... if you're a creationist we would be forsaken without the wheel. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
