What do you think about people who get dogs or cats; decide they have no more use for them abandon them?

Kinda like what slave owners did to Blacks.

Don't even get me started about pet owners like that. But that second part threw me a bit.. what does that have to do with it?

First off the people that abandon animals, children or elderly people should be shot, not killed... quickly anyway. They should be shot in minor non lethal shots like arms, legs, then left to bleed to death.
Second, how does this compare to and what does it have to do with slave owners and blacks?
None of us (alive today) were around when people owned slaves so we don't know the whole story.

I kindof think that sucks....as for the slave owners I don't think I would catagorize what they did in the same catagory. But at the end of the day both sets of folks suck

I think it's horrible. I wish I had the room ti take care of unwanted animals. I'll just have to adopt one at a time. :)

Don't get me started. I volunteer at a rescue shelter. I've got tons of stories to tell. People should be ashamed of themselves.

I think it's cruel....it makes me sad to see so many cats and dogs wondering around the neighborhood...I wish I had room for all of them!!

I think they're full of s.hit and should be forced to live in the freezing cold tundra with no shelter or clothing
