I personally wouldn't buy that. I look for clothing that will be very soft on her skin, easy to wash, and adorable for a baby. I don't want to make her look like a mini-adult fashion plate.

hand painted onesies don't sound very washable to me...If they were durable/easy care and not too flashy/showy/loud..I might. I like things with cute designs that are fairly simple..like maybe a few swirly designs with a bird...or a koi fish embellished with maybe just a little glitter here or there. I think when people see leopard and rhinestone in the same sentence they are picturing them on the same garment...add some purple lace and you have a truly scary thought. I'm sure thats not what you were intending at all. I think if designed well, with durability and washability in mind many people would buy them for that price.

The hand painted thing kind of scares me. I do not know alot about the process but it seems that it could come off easily. Leopard print is kind of too grown up IMO. I love princess designs. Try colors other than PINK. I find it so hard to find princess clothes for my daughter in anything other than pink..Since when does PINK have to signify girl? So try different colors like lavender, teal, black peach etc..Anything with cute crowns. checkered prints are cute. Even punk rock styles would be cute to me anyway. Cute little skulls or grafitti type styles. I think that it is cute. Nothing too complicated because it will just irritate the babe. Punk styles is what I would love, love to see. Crazy kind of neon colors. Anything with cute logos, even more sarcastic or a little edgier logos. (I do not really agree with Daddy drinks because I cry, but something like Punk Rock Baby or Metal rules)

rhinestones could come lose and thus pose a choking hazard. Generally to pass child saftey regulations here (aust) items must not be able to go into a 35mm film cannister...
Avoid ribbons which may become wrapped around fingers neck and limbs restricting blood flow...
Easy to open crotch for diaper changes...
I have bought tops before which I didn't look into first, they had pretty rhinstones which were securely attached but on the inside next to childs chest were sharp scratchy bits from where they were attached...
Here we have some stores which just stock cute slogan outfits like
"I ruin shopping trips",
"Daddys Angel, Poppy's alibi"
"Caution 0-5m in one vomit"
"I can clear a room with my diaper"
"Aren't you glad I'm not your child"
I would have liked to have seen cute sets with beanie/bonnet with cute fabric pattern around cuff, with matching onesie, socks trimmed and maybe a blanket with same edging???
Good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds expensive........but defiently a cute idea but hand painted? Would they be machine washable? New mothers wash so many clothed we don't want to have to take our newborn's onesies to the dry cleanings but still cute idea just don't know if its practical.
Good Luck though!

No because paint sounds scratchy and rhinestones can come off and cause baby to choke. I think that would be dangerous and you'd get sued.

Id stay away from the rhinestones, Id see them as something if they came off could get in their mouth. Its harder to find decent maternity clothes, Id focus your talents on that.

Cute idea, but a major requirement for all the clothes I buy for my daugher is that they be machine washable. However, you are probably looking for a higher-class customer than I. lol

I might buy them. But leapard print for tiny babies sounds kinda "grown - up" then again, higher end boutiques would probably sell them. but be careful with rhinstones and such, they can come off and be a choklng hazard. i would definaelty make them machine washable.
