Goise is like Um. You use it at any occasion just as a word to say. Um doesnt really have a meaning, but everyone says it from time to time. Like was said above, its more in the inflection in the voice and facial expression that establish its meaning. We all say it to each other and we know what the other means because you just know. Its a meaningless word with every meaning.

To help you out goiserclause, I will enlighten some of the public.

Goise means all of the above. It means excitement, it means disgust, it means 'I agree with you', it means shut up. You just say it whenever the mood hits you. You say it to a stranger walking by on the street. You say it when the waitress asks you if you want a refill on your coffee. You say it when the gas prices go up near $4.00/gal. You just say it.

And, to sum it all up, GOISE!

How will I know how or when to say it? Is it amazement? Or disgust? or to flatter someone? Or to tease, insult, or placate?

Gah. No point in trying to invent something if we do not know how to use it!! Like giving someone a present of a gadget that has no useful purpose.
