His career started out being the drummer for a small* band named Nirvana. Heard they did ok. Then he made a solo album. Literally. He recorded his first album all by himself. Drums, guitar, and bass. It went platinum. Years later he has released 5 LP's, won numerous grammys and sell out tours. Should he be in the hall of fame, and do you have a favorite sone?

He definately has made himself a name. Starting out in DC (with a band i seem to have forgotten), coming to Washington for Nirvana and made a name for himself, all teh while writing all the music for his solo album, followed by the creation of Foo FIghters. An interesting fact is early 2000's he was in Foo FIghters and Queens of The Stone Age (drumming briefly) at the same time. Whether he makes it, though, is the question of is his music enjoyed enough by todays population of "I like it or it sucks"??

I don't know, but he's a cool guy =D

The D.C. band redsox is talking of is called Scream. I think Dave Grohl is fantastic, a real down-to-earth guy with incredible talents. If he has longetivity in his career, I feel he should be in the R'n'R HOF. Favorite song - so many great ones to choose from but after all this time, I still get the chills listening to "Everlong."

You've got a point there! I think he should be in the Music Hall of Fame! You don't get a multi-talented musician like that these days.

Favorite Song: For All The Cows (from the first CD)

I definatly agree that he is one of the most talented men of his time. However, he hasn't earned the senoirity to make it into R&R Hall of Fame yet. But, he is deserving, and he will.
