Miss Universe use to be a family show that showcased the glamour of the world. It was something every family looked forward to every year as it gave every culture something to root for. The past Miss Universe's use to be beautiful inside and out, fast forward a couple years, put the organization under the hands of Donald Trump, then we get the pageant that it is today --- completely substanceless and only girls who know how to model take the crown. Gone are the days when intelligence and wit had something to do with winning the title. I just feel bad for the past queens, as now the pageant is a disgrace to them.

Well, we have to face reality that sex sells but it is not going over the line as a swimsuit event is appropriate and necessary. They have been doing that event for over 40 years now so nothing wrong. The judges could be better picked though, Dave Navarro?!! Give the contestants a break.

The Miss Universe contest is a bigger farce than professional wrestling,the hand picked judges usually pick the host country's representative for the top ten finalists no matter how she looks like

its a shame on mexico booing miss USA. its not her fault if mexican illigal immigrants are being thrown out of the US. 600 MILLION around the world watched the show and mexicans shows thier best behavior in one and a half hour. i wonder what they can do for the rest of the day

I think these programs are rivaled in the level of retardation only by American idol.

I used to watch it and now i just find it sickening and gross. There was a girl on there wearing a thong as part of her countries "national costume"!!!
