I'm not sure if Vermont is a no fault divorce State, but where I'm from it is. You either can do the paperwork your self or if propery and children are involved it can cost anywhere in the range from $1000..00 to $1500.00, just according to how long it takes both sides to be in agreement. I had my divorce within 45 days at no cost because he filed and we had nothing together. If it is a no fault State you have to prove why you believe this marriage is not worth working on.
