Like someone else said, the small series Campire kisses... "Blood and Chocolate" is about werewolves. Then there's all of the really old vampire books like "Dracula" and stuff. Right now I'm reading a book called "Blue Blood" and that's about vampires... I just started though, so I couldn't tell you just how good it is yet... that has a sequal to it... There's abother book that's also a series... "City of Bones" it's a REALLY good book... although it's not centered around vampires and werewolves, it still has them in it. The main characters are saraphim... it's REALLY good... I mean, I read it right after I finished Twilight and new moon, and for me to have just read those, I was surprised at how good the book was... so that's another one to try if you're interested...

Two of my favorite vamp themed series' are the Felix Gomez books by Mario Acevedo and the Joe Pitt books by Charlie Huston. Neither are young adult, but Mario Acevedo is very funny, and covers everything, from vampires and werewolves, to aliens and faeries, and does so in a very comedic fashion. There are currently 5 books, starting with The Nymphos Of Rocky Flats. Then X-Rated Blood Suckers, The Undead Kama Sutra, Jailbait Zombie and Werewolf Smackdown. I can't wait for the next book in this series. Charlie Huston's books have a much darker, more noir theme to them, but that's probably my favorite vampire series EVER. Start with Already Dead. Then No Dominion, Every Last Drop, Half The Blood In Brooklyn, and My Dead Body. This series is complete, and the entire series is awesome, and has a really great (although not traditionally, off into the sunset happy) ending to it.

Here are some of the best vampire works I have read:
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Mina by Marie Kiraly
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles
Kim Harrison’s Rachel Morgan series about a witch who is a bounty hunter and works with a vampire and a pixie
Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Norville series about a werewolf radio talk show host
Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series about a wizard private investigator in Chicago
Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series
For Young Adults:
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman
Midnight's Choice by Kate Thompson, part of a trilogy that begins with “Switchers” and ends with “Wild Blood”
Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde
If you just want to kill some time and have some fun reverting back to childhood, check out The Bailey School Kids series by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones. They have some humorous titles like "Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots," "Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp," and "Dracula Doesn't Rock and Roll".

Peeps and The Last Days by Scott Westerfeld are really different vampire stories. They take a bit more scientific approach to the whole thing but they're really good.

If you like reading about vampires ,Anne Rice writes about vampires, I don't know if it's similar to your book but you could try them and see if you like them.
