i got a new pc and I'm using it for my studio and i need to put xp on it.

Well i don't know where everyone gets there info.But i have put the same xp in my computers and there working and legal cause there my PCs and in my name.I would try it and you'll see it goes thru.

No. I had the same problem. Windows has it now so that 1 key code can only go to 1 computer. In other words the key code gets registered automatically through the internet and if it's already registered once, you can't register it again. But if you decide to go ahead and use the windows xp disc for two computers you will have validation problems with one of them. If you have validation problems you might have problems playing a DVD on your computer and/or getting automatic updates, etc...

No, you need to use the disk to place in XP on 2 distinctive platforms yet once you attempt to turn on it they the two want 2 distinctive activation keys for each. you have 30 days to turn on it or it's going to be locked on the top of the thirtieth day till a valid secret's entered.

No. You will have to get a second registration from Microsoft for the second machine. The cost was around $80 when I had to do this a couple years ago. Their logic behind this is to help stop piracy.
