Do people nowadays but sporting event tickets based on price or still based on location? Nowadays I feel people buy more on price and not as much on location if they just want to catch a ballgame, especially due to the high prices of food and beer.

Fans are relatively price sensitive when it comes to sporting events. Let's see -- has there ever been a regular season baseball game that was worth $150 a ticket to me? Probably not. I paid $45 a seat to go to Fenway Park a few years ago, and it was a special occasion since I was visiting from out of town. I gulped a little but said OK. But would I do it regularly?
