I do. Isn't it unfair to the immigrants who are waiting now to enter. For example, isn't it unfair to my Indian and Korean friends who are waiting to gain their citizenship while their families wait far away?

i agree with you but also to the ones crossing for our northern border also. my parents waited along time to get here just so i could be here and get an education. they should wait like everyone else and not cheat.

Yes, I do. Realistically though, it's a moot point. The reason I think so, is that because of the media, and those in power, no ones going to do anything, except for the "amnesty bill". Like you said, it's not fair to the people who ARE trying to do the right thing. Also, when we STOP enforcing one law, all the laws are disrespected! Why do we bother to have them at all then? Just make it a big free for all and let every terrorist and criminal who wants to come on in, because that's exactly what we're doing!!
I have worked with Mexican people who were here illegally, and I have no problem with them on a personal level. In fact I worked three years with a couple, invited them to share Thanksgiving with us, (which they did) , and threw the woman a baby shower when she got pregnant. Most of them are descent people. I don't blame THEM for taking advantage of the opportunity. If the roles were reversed, I'd probably do the same thing. But as an American citizen, I believe that we have to get a hold of ourselves.

If they are illegal, they should go. And Cobb is gripping about the USA taking parts of Mexico. Get over it Cobb, it's our land now. Fair has nothing to do with it. You want to talk about fair? Why doesn't Mexico treat the immigrants from Central America fairly? They'll lock you up and ship you back in a heartbeat. But they want to come over here in droves. Why not make Mexico a better country instead of making mine worse?

First of all, US doesn't have any money to send them back. Secondly, Bush is an idiot.
And last, Mexican ppl are lucky to just cross the border unlike Asians who have to fly. It is sad but unless theres a change in the government, there will have to wait longer.

No.
The economy would suffer.
And though illegal immigrants do affect the immigration process, I fail to see how it's directly the fault of illegals that your Indian and Korean friends decided to wait to gain their citizenship.

Well they are breaking the law. The thing is no one had a major problem with them being here until they starting marching in the streets demanding "rights" they don't have.
