Ummmm Ominous, I don't think any guy out there would like to see my unshaven legs lol. Would scare them worse than a chick with hairy armpits (which i do not have) wearing a sleeveless dress.
Ugggh cannot stand stubble.

I don't like hair on my body so I shave my pits, my arms, and my legs every day. I love the feel of that super smooth skin, especially when I slide into my bed at night and have that silky texture right against my skin with no hair to get in the way.

I'd love to get laser hair removal at some point. I hate shaving!

well, if no one cared at all and it wasn't standard for women to shave their legs, it might not occur to me to do so. That was the case for most of western civilization. If it's too cold for leg revealing weather and no one is going to see, I'll sometimes let the legs go a bit. But I shave my armpits everyday, easier to keep smelling fresh that way. When I went to the alternative artsy fartsy alternative high school for young bohemians, there was a short lived trend where girls bleached their armpit hair and died it pink. I never tried it, but I actually thought it was pretty cute. It was short lived because, apparently, sweat tends to make the dye bleed.

Right now, I would say yes, of course, because I like doing it for me, but if shaving had never been something we're "supposed" to do, I don't know what my answer would be. I say yes, because that's what I've always known, but if I had never been taught to do that, and never seen anyone else with shaved legs etc., I don't think I would.

My boyfriend doesn't care one way or the other if I shave, so I usually don't unless I'm wearing something short in public. If the society I'm in, not just men, didn't care, I wouldn't bother shaving ever again.

I would because I like the feeling of smooth legs as compared to prickly ones. My boyfriend doesn't care if I shave my legs or not, but I still do it.

It doesn't matter to my boyfriend if I don't and I don't care either way. I won't shave if I'm wearing jeans, just when my legs are bare in public, which is once in a while. I shave my pits every few days just because I don't want it to get funky in there. If society didn't make a stink about it, I wouldn't bother shaving. I just do it as to not draw unwanted attention to myself and to look "clean."

Yes, I do it for myself. However, in winter when my legs aren't really "out in public", I shave less frequently. I prefer my armpits shaved, but I don't feel like I "have to". It just makes me feel more "dressed" - like brushing my teeth or doing my hair. I don't think my husband would really care either way, actually, as long as I'm showering frequently.

I might let the legs get furry ... I have never noticed a man's leg hairs smelling, and I don't bike or anything that requires aerodynamics. Sometimes in winter they do get furry ... but ah, they're more like peach fuzz and nothing like a man's course pubic type leg hair.

However, I'd still whack the arm-pitta hair 'cause it holds way too many funky smells, and I have a blood hounds nose.
