if you want to feel like you have more control of the situation and your test (you should do a HPT) shows that your not pregnant, i would suggest getting some home ovulation kits. they help you chart when you are ovulating and that way you will know exactly when to have sex in order to have a better chance at pregnancy.
my husband and i tried for 3yrs , about 2 1/2 yrs without the ovulation kits. 6 months after charting my ovulation we were pregnant! and this time 2 months after trying we were pregnant again!

There are lots of different symptoms and not everyone gets everyone, I actually wasn't able to eat as much. I've got to eat smaller meals more often and it is a real pain in the butt. It's quite possible that will have gotten pregnant this month, the other possibility is that you are already pregnant and what you thought was a period was infact implantation bleeding. I know that it is a really stressful time when you are trying to get pregnant, but the best thing to do id to forget that you want the baby and just enjoy being with your partner and before you know it you'll be pregnant.
Good luck with it all , hope it turns out the way that you want.

Go get a pregnancy test and find out for sure.
Every woman is different but in general having sex 10 to 15 days after your period, it is possible that you have ovulated and thus could be pregnant. Most women don't know for a while that they are actually pregnant. A common indicator is morning sickness. Morning sickness can actually strike any time of the day or night and it usually gone after the first trimester. Most women don't even start to show a little tummy until the 4th or 5 month. If you turn out to be pregnant, getting in to your doctor and get on pregnancy vitamins is good.

Yup...sounds like you had sex around the exact wrong time if you didn't want to get pregnant. Basically, you can get pregnant anytime you have sex...protection and time of the month just make it less likely.
My understanding is that the most fertile time for most women is about the 7th to 10th day after their period ends...so for you, it would be around the 23-26 of May.
Symptoms usually don't develop (at least not for me) until after I took a test and missed my period. You'll know before you ever get the symptoms.

It really depends on how long your cycle is. If it is 28 days, then you have a pretty good chance of becoming pregnant this month. You can start noticing the fatigue about two weeks past ovulation, but it won't become really evident until about your missed period.

it sounds like you had sex during the time of probable ovulation. since your cycle started late your body may be off a bit therefore it could make it hard to calculate exactly. as for symptoms it varies for all women. some can start feeling the symptoms within a week and others it takes months. good luck!
