READ the DISCRIPTION!?

im totally confused about this assignment that i have! i have to write a newspaper article about this picture of a homeless guy sitting alone by a store that has a " free" sign on it! can u please help me do this or give me an example?

It's a "free store," like a food bank but with other goods as well, like used clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, backpacks, and other items that would be useful to a homeless person. Some guy who used to be homeless decided to organize it.

Is the homeless guy supposed to be "free"? I don't get it.
