Of course it just depends on your own personal preferences, but Walt Disney World Resorts are much much bigger than Disneyland Resorts. Walt Disney World, as mentioned above, has four major theme parks, 2 water parks, a "downtown disney" shopping area, 2 mini golf courses, and 21 resorts (with one more on the way).

Aside from the sheer size though, it is up to you. Disneyland's two parks are more compact, while Disney World is more spread out. Some say that Disneyland has a better selection, and just better quality of rides, but that is purely subject to each person's opinions. Personally though, I prefer and absolutely love Disney World so much more because there are so many more rides, and I just like the whole theming better.

I don't know what else to put here, but I would say take a look at both before you decide on which one to go to if thats what you are planning. Oh, and just a fun fact:

Disneyland's two parks and parking, can fit inside the Magic Kingdom and it's parking.

either is good so regardless you will have fun. go to which ever is closer. now if money or time is not an factor in making your decision....

Disney World: its larger, has more rides and doesn't feel as cramped. plus, there are other things to do besides parks. (water parks, clubs (if you are over 21) and even the hotels can be fun with their pools, activities, etc. but everything is far away from each other. you have to drive or, if you are staying on property, use the free Disney transportation.

Disneyland: much smaller. you can walk between all the different attractions. their two parks face each other. you can walk to fast food restaurants outside of property and save some money that way. also, it is the original park. Walt Disney himself was in that park. although most of the rides are very similar, some of the ones at Disneyland are a little longer and by some people's opinion, better.

Either way, you can't go wrong.

I'll keep it simple, as some other members have covered the final points. If you are looking to take a couple day trip, Disneyland is the way to go. You can cover most of the attractions in that time. Disney World is compiled of many parks, so if you are planning a week vacation or more, that will be your best bet. Also, there are many more resorts in Disney World than Disneyland.

Hi well first off there's a parking lot in disneyworld the size of disneyland. There's way better rides like M.T. Everest and Space Mountain. So you decide. Have an awesome day!!!

I guess that depends on your location. Personally I have been to both and D-world has way more to offer. However D-land has its great points too. They both have the theme ride "Its A Small World" however the one at D-land is way cooler because of the outside appearence of a castle that looks to be designed by a 17th century Swiss watch maker as opposed to D-world's go thru two doors and into the basement approach to the ride. But that is just one thing that immediately comes to my mind.
The other thing is that when you are at either one there are many other things to do nearby, like Sea World (which I highly reccomend) By D-world. By D-land you have Universal Studios, the Manns Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
They are both close to the ocean so you can get to see one of the oceans no matter which one you choose. But there is on major difference that may favor D-Land,,,, If you are a person that likes snow you will only be an hour or two drive from skiing in the mountains. You're probably not going to pull that one off at D-World.
I dont ski so for me,, D-World gets my vote!!

I think DisneyWorld is overrated. DisneyLand was the original, classic site. I'd rather go there myself.

They can't even be compared. Disneyand is 2 parks. Disneyworld is 4 major parks, 3 water parks, and over 10 resorts and it is huge.
