Does climbing a ladder bother you..?

The ladder thing never bothers me because I am the one who sets it up and makes sure it has its proper footing and is safe before I set out on it. I trust myself totally to seat the ladder so I will be safe on it. So no on climbing the imaginary ladder. What would give me pause is jumping out an airplane door to sky dive or - that clear-bottomed platform built out over the Grand Canyon - those would both give me pause, for sure. Flying in a plane as a passenger does not bother me. No fear at all. Elevators that look out on the world as they go up - no fear of them, neither. Even when I was at the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, New York, U.S.A., all I felt was a sense of awe at how our cities came into being over the years - no fear at all, not even in those crazy elevators in the same building that zip up and down at breakneck speeds. Kind of.
Climbing down a ladder bothers me. So does standing on top of tall buildings (or even on the top floor of the mall) and looking down. But I love (tall) roller coasters...
I'm really more afraid of falling from heights than of the heights themselves.

I'm scared of heights, but ladders don't bother me too much..unless someone's not holding the bottom end.

Yes i am scared of heights (my hands are getting all clammy), but i don`t have any problems climbing a ladder (unless it`s a really tall one)

Terrified of heights. I can make it up maybe four steps on a ladder. I get a little woozy when I go to the railing on my deck and that's only one story up. The weird thing is I love rollercoasters.

climbing a ladder does not bother me, as i haven't been on one that high, but i hate to be standing on the edge of anything looking down.

no, i am not really scared of heights, but i don't like climbing a ladder anymore!! afraid of falling and breaking bones!! i love riding rollercoasters and all!!

sometimes. normally im fine w/it, but at my cottage you have to get on a ladder to get into our attic, cuz its just a little door way up high on the wall. you have to stand on the very top and still kind of step over and jump to get in there. so i hate it. but otherwise, as long as its not too high, or too shaky im ok.
