I visited NY when I was a freshman in high school. I took a walk to see the area around my hotel. As I walked down the street, a man approached, being a California kid, I smiled and said "Hi" as I passed. The guy just about freaked! He backed up against a wall like I was going to jump him. I decided if that's what NY turns you into, I never wanted to live there. California is better!

Been to New York once for like two days
Though i think california would be the best,because its got the ocean as a neighbor.

That's actually a really good question. They both have their pros and cons. i think california is better. it's more of a rural area where families can settle down and enjoy life. There's beaches, and more fun stuff in california. I guess I like it better, because it's more rural but if you urban and shopping you'd like New York. :)

I love them both. Its a tie between nyc and l.a. but california is a better state
