Um, ya, I think everyone knows she has several adopted children.

She and Kelly had a foster child in Florida. They were moving to NYC and wanted to adopt her. Gays do not have the option to adopt in Florida, so she was taken from them. They helped her find parents and she was adopted. They still maintain contact with her.

She has three adopted children, one 'with' her live-in, and had a foster daughter in Miami, but they made her give it back because gays can't adopt in Florida.

she was going to adopt or had adopted and then the changes that lesbians and gays cannot adopt in that state changed so she could not adopt there
