honestly I don't know. they say that you can't feel them until 16 weeks, but I felt my second move at 12 weeks.(the flutters) and by 15 weeks I could feel real kicks! 7 weeks does seem a bit early, and everyone will tell you it's gas, but if this is your second you know what it feels like..... It is very possible....Just wait and see if it starts getting stronger... Good Luck and CONGRATS! :)

Well..... this is interesting because I am 61/2 weeks pregnant with #2 and I am positive I can feel flutters at quiet times when I am just lying there it feels like a butterfly or fish swimming in there.
People keep telling me I am nuts and its in my head as it is too early it must be just gas!
Oh I dont know to be honest I am just believing it is my bubba it makes me happy so why not!

Not very likely. While the baby can move that early, most women do not actually feel it until at least 12 weeks. What you may be experiencing is gas, or perhaps you're farther along than you think you are and it IS the baby moving. Hope this helps!

You may detect fetal movement sooner than you did the first time around. Because you’re already an old pro when it comes to detecting fetal movement, you can expect to start feeling your baby’s flutters a few weeks earlier this time. First time moms often have difficulty distinguishing between bonafide fetal movement and run-of-the-mill gastrointestinal sensations. Of course, as with anything else pregnancy-related, your mileage may vary on this front: if your baby decides to camp out towards the back rather than the front of your uterus during this pregnancy, you may have difficulty detecting much fetal movement until you’re well into the second half of your pregnancy.
I had twins, and they were big to begin with, so they didn't move around much as they were cramped, just when they kicked at each other for space. Enjoy. My 13 yr old monsters are 6ft. now, and are still kicking for space. lol

You are not supposed to feel the actual baby kick until around 4-5 months, but you do feel a vibration that early.

It all depends on how thin you are. If your thin you probably will feel something sooner than somone that is heavier. I felt my first at 12 weeks and I was laying down and had actually saw it. I am very muscular and I weighed 130 pounds. I have very low body fat as well so it is possible but could be gas as well, Sometimes your prenatals will bind you up due to iron and it could be that as well. But if it is thats a cool thing. Congrats!!!

one of the most common reasons to feel early fetal movements is a multiple pregnancy (meaning there could me more than one baby!), for a single pregnancy, movements aren't usually felt until the second trimester.
