I suppose you could say: An hour has plenty of minutes. However, in reference to Hockey, I haven't a clue how to you would use "plenty minutes" in a sentence. Well, you could say: There are plenty of minutes left on the clock. You really need the word "of" between "plenty" and "minutes" Hope this helps.

Are you referring to "twenty minutes"?

A hockey game consists of three periods, each lasting twenty minutes.
