That's a funny question. I never wind the cord and I never put it away. That is probably why I stub my toe on it occasionally.

Yes, when I'm done vacuuming, I immediately wind the cord back up and put it away. I can't stand the vac out after I've cleaned.

Yeppers I let cord auto wrap and put it all away, if not our little 2 & 1/2 pound puppy stands on vaccume waiting for it to go so he can ride around and dont want to be cussed at for anyone tripping over it...

With my 2 rugrats, i am vacuuming all the time. And i am usually moving a pile of toys from one side of the room to the other...so no i dont.

It has a button that pulls the cord back in. I leave it plugged in close to the bird's cage because I have to vaccuum there everyday.

i used to when i had the retractable cord on the vacuum, but my kirby doesn't give me that option....it's sitting in my room, with the cord laying on the floor right now :)
