Daddy
Daddy sat in his chair.
The pain in his eyes,
Something I could never bear.
Daddy had to leave.
I cried that night
All lonely in my bed.
Daddy had to fight.
Daddy was so brave.
He left on his plane
From head to toe
He was soaked from rain.
His uniform drenched.
There are lots of daddy's out there.
Risking all their lives.
Daddy's that really do care.
Daddy's who honor our flags.
I wish daddy would come back
From that horrid place.
That horrid place Iraq.
But daddy is brave.
Daddy's a hero.
I know, it's probably really choppy. But I literally wrote it in two minutes. What do you think?

It was from the heart, and that makes it beautiful. There are also a lot of Mom's serving our country, I pray for them all and there loved ones to keep the faith and that God comforts and protects them all.
