I want a bonsai plant, whats a good kind for someone who has never had one and how much attention is needed. And direct sunlight is only in my apartment for like 3 hours in the morning

Hundreds of species are made into bonsai. To put it simply, bonsai is a design. You can get species that grow inside and also ones that are outside trees. A bonsai is a tree. It requires attention and considerable sun and weather. Most people who raise them keep them outside in a sheltered location and move them into the house or to shows for display. Under your conditions it is very likely to die.
