I just had a huge problem with breakthrough bleeding (bleeding that acts a lot like a menstrual period) and went in to the dr a few times with a pad on my panties. But when the dr is doing the exam they aren't going to notice the panties and pad any way because it's (the panties and pad) going to moved elsewhere such as on a chair.
If you are bleeding real heavily ask the assistant for a drape to sit on to catch some of that blood.
But breakthrough bleeding is something a dr will often see and because of how long you have been having this it could be a sign that you have an infection such as with the cervix going on.

Yes it will be embarrassing to say the least. I been there and done that. But the fact remains is that if you have been on your period now for 3 weeks, something is wrong some where. But keep one thing in mind, they have already saw this happening in the passed, that is why you are going. This will be nothing new to the doctor. I know it will not make you feel any better knowing this but I know how you feel since I have been there.
More than likely you have an infection like I did back then. It was very expensive for the medicines to get over it as well.
I do have an infection remedy that will kill one very fast,(in one day or less) but on this one with you, you do need to see the doctor first. Then if you want the one I have let me know and I will give it to you. It is so much cheaper that the other ones are.

You need the doctor to check you out because you've had your period so long. Doctors are used to handling problems like this. I find it helps to get an experienced female doctor because women are more understanding. When you call to make an appointment, request this.

He may not even do an exam on the day you go. He may just give you some horomone pills to slow and stop the bleeding. He will tell you to call back when you arent bleeding.

That's why you're going, so he can make sure you're not bleeding to death. You have hypermenhorria and it needs to be addressed before you lose too much blood.
