I asked a similar ? but it dissapeared, i have a "PCI bus" under my system devices when i press windows+pause, does this mean I can run PCI Express or just PCI?

Hi. Just PCI. The other would identify as PCIe or PCIx. And thanks for the 'Windows key + pause' trick. I did not know that one.

Only PCI bus cards.
PCI-X has a much bigger slot.
PCI are very slow running new high end games
I suggest buy a antoher motherboard with PCI-X slot
and new video card.

If it is desk top, the card should have came with software. It must run with your OS,and it won't run with Vista, unless ts Vista ready.
