I just saw this show talking about the actor Jerry Orbach, who donated his eyes to 2 woman after he died.
That just seems a little creepy to me.
I can see an internal organ, like a kidney, but eyes?

It's a terrific idea. In point of fact, eyes, hair, ears, easier bone structure, femurs, toe bones, ankle angles, a correction in sternum to allow for the correct number of lobes, lenses, retinas, extracted pigment, pieces of anvils, a few gray cells, stem cells (axions or is it dendrites?), motor parts, larger vertebrae openings, smaller hearts, balls, sockets (pivot replacement), cili, finer hair, finer head skin, longer arms, squarer clavicle (sp?), longer clavicle, livers, deaders, thryroids, endocrines, androgens, parts of tongues, and fingernails, and don't forget the favorite for those that got hearing parts, and need what they feel like is missing - tonsils.

All they need is for a country to tie organ donation into a driver license system, then have a computer list of who is going to die, who will pronounce them brain dead:ambulance company or "para"- medic that is willing to be on call to speedily move any that may not be dead, but "back" misplacement; ornate woven documents for brain-dead pronouncers, hostage Physicians and/or very good mechanics, and strong trade in rocks and gems; a few island countries on what they'll call reality t.v. to front it, and prison system in condemned buildings for which they have handy janitors that know when it's sterile enough for the transplants.

.... it would be creepy to the human beings that are supposed to be dead on time, but the majority have no problem with it, if such an organ-ization would help retain a higher population numbers.

People have a thing eyes. I do. Donating any organ is a good thing to do. You are dead any ways so you might as well put those organs to good use and make someone healthier. That has to be a good feeling.

If there is a case of "hereditary hypertension", the symptoms will probably rematerialize. Wasted kidney. Try Med section and ask for a long term prognosis from a doc. If doc says a Forever fix.... good way to lose a few pounds.

Oh, it's very good! Just think if you were one of those woman and if someone didn't donate eyes to you, you would be blind for the rest of your life. It's not at all creepy! It's so inselfish. I would donate some organs if I was going to die, I mean, you can save lives if you do it! Plus when you're dead, you don't need them anymore! Duh! XD

I have already signed the documents to harvest any and all organs including my skin to help people who still have a shot at a normal life.

I feel very strongly about this. If my eyes could help a child see the world for the first time, or allow a father to see his child for the first time, please take them.

We can't take it with us, donate for life.
