I don't even know the name of that clear coating but somehow you heat it and pour it all over the table. I think it's going to make a really neat collage and the whole family will be in it. Please help me with the instructions from the beginning. Thanks.

If you're wanting to *pour* a *single* layer of a liquid that will dry hard and clear on your items, the stuff you're probably wanting is a 2-part epoxy resin (not a polyester resin btw). There are various brands of it, the cheapest of which is available at Home Depot. (if your pics are not already waterproof, you'll need to seal them first... see link below)

Or you could just "decoupage" the pics with *multiple* layers of thinned white glue or a decoupage medium like Royal Coat or even a bare-wood acrylic finish like Varathane, but they're not the same as the 2-part epoxy resins and won't go on as thick with one coat.

If you don't buy the larger amount of epoxy resin at Home Depot, etc. (can't remember the exact brand name), you'll need to buy it in smaller quantities in craft/hobby/art stores, plastic supply stores, etc.... or of course, online.

If you want to read all about epoxy resins and how they applied, etc., and also get some of the brand names, check out this page at my site:

(... click on the large category called EPOXY RESINS... it's the "hard surface" ones you'll want)

one brand was 50 coat. you need to get edging for the table, either plastic or aluminum, screw or nail it to the sides of the table top, arrange your photos and such, then mix the plastic stuff as it says to and pour it on, make sure you are going to have enough before you start, measure your table so you know how many square inches you are covering, good luck.
