Flyers in a upperclass Apartment complex. This is where people can afford to have a housekeeper but just do not have the time to do what they need to do. Moreover the size of the living area is something that you can clean and be maintained one day a week.

You can always make up flyers advertising yourself and put them out in that area. You can also have you some business cards made, they're not that expensive, depending on where you get them from. Word of mouth is the best way to go. If you are already doing this type of work then add references to your advertisement to let people know that you are good at what you do.

Ask for referrals. If you know people (like at church or something) that uses housekeepers ask if they know anyone the still needs one. If you know people that do housekeeping ask them if they know clients that they were just to busy to take on the extra business.

Post an ad in one of the many free throw-away papers, such as the Greensheet. Go the local laundry, they usually have bulletin boards for posting. You may have to ask the manager, if you can post a notice for your service.

Advertise on Google Locals. People will always look on the internet to find a business, before they do anything else.
