My son's step-father called me one day and told me that my son had been in a car accident. He told me where it was and I went.
When I got there his car had been slammed into on the drivers side door and the car was shoved into a telephone pole on the passenger side. I could not see how anyone could have survived being in a car that was that badly mangled on both sides.
He and his half-brother were the only passengers in the car and were both in the front seats.
A policeman asked me if I was the drivers father and I told him yes. He said he's in the emergency squad being check out.
My heart was racing, I was sweating, and shaking all over.
As I approached the squad, I seen my son sitting there being looked at.
He smiled at me and said "Hi Pops!"
He had a small cut on his head from hitting the rear view mirror and nothing else. His half_brother just got mashed a little when my son was thrown at him from the impact.

My nightmares.
Ever since I was little I've had nightmares, and recently I've gone through some things and blame myself...
And you work through problems in your dreams, so my dreams have been horrible.
The creatures like are comming to get me and what not... they'll be in my dreams but I'll wake up and swear I still see them-
at my door, out my window, in my closet...... and in my dreams they steak blood across my window and s h i t.
I don't know it's really weird and scares me horribly.
To the point where I'm not sleeping because of it and it's really effecting me.
In genral, for most people the unknown is very scary to them.

I was raped repeatedly for hours at the age of 9 by 7 teenage boys.
So I would have to say man is the scariest thing in the world.

I wouldn't say it was scary, but I was caught offguard. 2 nights ago, I was at this cocktail party and my friend's buddy showed up ... wearing brown shoes and a black belt! He felt justified because he figured no one would see it. Well, I knew about it and that was enough. I left that party quick as I felt it was a sign of bad things to come.

On here... Dr. Doris... In real life, giving a co-worker of mine while at work, the Heimlich maneuver. It wasn't scary at the time, but after wards it was in my dreams the next couple of nights. My co-worker thanked me and still does for saving her life... So it's actually a good kind of scary I suppose. :)

When my best friend went into a church alone to get something, and she didn't come out for a while. Fifteen minutes. We thought that the priest might of done something to her. It was so scary.
