You need to try one of two things.
Either contact law enforcment and see if they will go with you and to try to retrieve the items, you will have to pay the fees. The thing you will have to find out is if your state law will allow you the access to these items. If you can show they belong to you, you should be able to access them. Heck you could probably have her charged with theft.
Or show up in the morning and talk to the owner of the storage unit, they don't want to spend the time auctioning the items off. See if you can pay the bill and retrieve your items.
Good Luck

An owner of a storage unit has a common law lien to use the items so stored as security for the payment of rent.

I would recommend that you try to deal directly with the owner of the storage units to keep the items from going to auction. He doesn't care where he gets the money from, he just wants to get paid.

If that fails, be ready to go to auction with a pocket full of cash money.

Contact the police and see if they will help you talk to the owner of the storage. Explain the situation. If there are items with your name, etc... on it where you can prove the belongings are yours with positive ID (drivers lisence, school ID's for the kids), the owner may be willing to release the property to you for the amount owed on the storage unit the day of the sale. If not I am afraid you will have to bid on the items. Good luck!

Get your lawyer and take her back to court. Demonstrate to the Judge what she is doing and how this is interfering with the children's lifestyles. She will not have a leg to stand on. Then file for a summary judgment for the amount of money you determine that was lost because of her callousness.

i think that because it is your belongings and she wont give them to you, you can ask the authorities to escort you to retrieve everything. in which case you have you and your children's stuff and she still has the bill.

I would just go bid on it since she isn't going to be of any help
the trophy's should go pretty cheap since there isn't much of a value but to you and your son

Go pay for it and have your kids get their stuff. Forget about your stuff. Let them get theirs.
