The Federal minimin wage is $5.15.

This site has it all - state by state.

The reason you're heard various figures is some states go with the Federal minimum, and others set their own minimum such as California at $7.50 and Arizona at $6.75.

Go to the link and click on the state where you live to get the correct answer based on where you live.

I agree with M and Judy. However, this is a great question because on May 25th an article came out in the Seattle Times that Congress just approved a big pay hike.

Nationally, you should look forward to a $7.25 minimum wage. It's still not as big as Washington and California. But, for most of the States, that's an increase.

The federal minimum is $5.15 an hour. Many states have a higher minimum. The highest right now is $7.93, in Washington.
