For some reason, it seems really strange to me when people type "prolly" instead of "probably". How did that start? Just wondering.......

All that shorthand typing looks bad, to me, like the person is uneducated or too lazy to spell properly.

well... i dont have a term in mind... but in regards to yours... im one of those people --- i type how i speak... and when i say "probably" i actually pronounce it like "prolly"
