I'm having problems here..

I had an emachines computer. It broke and I took it to a place and they installed a new motherboard, so now the original eMachines Windows 98 Reinstall CD woln't work because it thinks the computer isn't an emachines.

I bought an upgrade windows 2000 pro cd a long time ago, and installed it on this computer. The hard drive crashed last night, so I bought a new one. I put in my upgrade CD, but I guess it's not bootable.
I have no other windows cds. What do I do?
Is there any way to install 2000 using the upgrade cd?

i dont think an upgrade Cd is bottable you will either have to create a bottable cd or install your prev 98 and then perform an upgrade

you going to have to get a hold of an OS.. just because that other disk is just an upgrade.. meaning that you have to have a operating system on there already
