It's humorous wordplay, leaving the listener to the insinuations and letting the dirty part of your mind assume the nasty stuff, which is what they really intended, but disguised it just enough to get past the censors of most radio play! You had to be tricky in those days!

I doubt hes talking about fancy dances he likes to throw. If anything he is talking about the sex he has by cleaning it up with you thinking about ballroom dancing and how hes the man when it comes to that because he has big balls. Nope he's really taking about his big balls and what he does with his big balls metaphorically.

yes he is talking about fancy balls. he mentions that "she's got big balls" in one of the lines. its just a sexual innuendo bit it is about ballrooms.
"I'm ever upper class high society
God's gift to ballroom notoriety
I always fill my ballroom
The event is never small
The social pages say I've got
The biggest balls of all"
ever hear of a double entendre look on you tube there is a vid made and a debate in the comments

the lyrics are talking about fancy dances and parties, but it is making innuendos about genitals. it's a pretty genius song actually :)

He wrote it about his genitals.

But he made it sound like it could be about a cinderella kinda ball if he was sued.

"Some balls are held for charity, some held for fancy dress, but the balls that are held for pleasure are the ones that I like best"

It's hard to tell because its one of those songs that has a doubble meaning but I'm sure he was drunk when he wrote it and wrote it not about parties
