My daughter is on long-term disability from work and we were wondering if she would still be able to get a mortgage from a finance company. thanks for all answers.

If you can get a letter from the doctor proving continuance of this disability income
(basically saying she will definitaly be disabled for at least the next three years) you should be fine.
AND proof from her employer that they will pay $whatever amount of dollars for the next three years if she continues to be disabled.

If her assets, down payment and income are such that the mortgage company feels she'll be able to make the payments, then they'll probably give her the mortgage if her credit rating is decent.
