- who is the pirate that randomly comes in at the brethren court who kind of looks like captain hook
- does will only get to come on land one day every 10 years to see elizabeth now?
- and what was the deal with calypso-- she didn't do anything

That’s Captain Teague. He's the keeper of the code and Jacks father.

No after the credits you find out that Will and Elizabeth were faithful to each other and thus broke the curse.

- Once Will told her it was Davey Jones that betrayed her, she withdrew. Which really bothered me actually.

1. Will's father was slightly losing his sanity, that's why he kept saying, "I know you. You know Will?" or something, to Elizabeth when she was talking to him. It comes from being on the Flying Dutchman.

2. He is Jack Sparrows' father and is part of the pirate meeting to decide what to do with Calypso.

3. Close... After 10 years, he can finally see Elizabeth and come on land, but Elizabeth can still board the Flying Dutchman after 10 years.

4. Calypso is actually a goddess of the sea. She was the lover of Davy Jones, so she IS important! (That's why he cut out his heart, put it in a chest, became captain of the ship, etc.) When the two ships at the end were battling, Calypso was the one that caused the whirlpool...she's the goddess of the sea.

Pirates 3 was such a good movie. I'm surprised Regetti had a fairly big part. (He's the guy with the wooden eyeball that keeps falling out in case u didn't know).

-I don't know what the deal with calypso was, that was dumb. If they make a part four maybe she'll do something in that.

1st question- Will's dad had become part of the ship since we last saw him and therfore had no idea who his son was and was only loyal to the Flying Dutchman! If you remember, when he met Elizabeth he told her to tell Will not to come save him so Will could stay with her and when Elizabeth went to cheer up Will's dad she tapped him, called him Bootstrap (his name), and he looked at her and once again asked how she knew his name as he had done when Elizabeth first called for him and he had forgotten everything they just talked about BECAUSE he went to being part of the ship!! Confusing but yet the truth!

2nd Question- That random pirate was the keeper of the code and Jack Sparow's father! Shocking but if you think they did look the same and Jack asked him about his mother which then the random pirate held up that ugly head!

3rd Question- Yes that was I got that he would come see her every 10 years for only one day! But yet I was reading that since Elizabeth stayed true to Will for those 10 years, he could be on land all the time again! Not sure if that part is true but yea, 1 day every 10 years!!

Final Question- I didn't really get that either!!

-will's dad does those things because he's become so much a part of the ship that he doesn't really have his own will anymore, he just does what is right for the ship.
-Jack's dad, aka Keith Richards from KISS. he had a cameo apperance there, and was featured in a song on the soundtrack.

-calypso was just some random mythological thing that they tried to throw in and couldn't really pull off. too bad though, because it could have been cool.

2. Captain Hook was really Jack Sparrow's daddy - notice he called him "Jackie" and Johnny Depp modeled his character after Keith Richards - so who else to play the part of his dad
3. Yes until Number 4 when Jack gets his ship back, again, and young Will now 20 (19?) will set out to rescue his dad (or they just may end it here - rats!)
