Excellent question! I read a couple of articles today at the Center for American Progress' website (liberal think tank) regarding this. Here's the link to their website. Check them out!

I have to live in California right now and am dealing with $3.50 a gallon. I noticed it skyrocketing when Bush went into office. Gas has actually gone down here. Regular was up to about $3.70. The reasons for rising and falling of gas prices just seem like a conspiracy-its all a giant monopoly with Bush cronies and Dubai who have all the hotels and own all the railroads, Park Ave, and Baltic etc. and hike the prices when they feel like it.

There is no greed involved. Oil and gas are commodities traded on the open market. The price is what it is just like coffee or orange juice. The oil companies have nothing to do with it nor does the President, and those who sell gas make very little money on it. It's just another commodity. If you want to do something, contact your congressmen and tell them you want to get America drilling for OIL everywhere possible.

Synchronicity--the coincidental timing of two unrelated events. Maybe the gas prices are up because of Iran's threat, the increase demand in China as well as the rest of the world, the EPA demands in many of states that "special summer blends" be required, and the two recent refinery fires

President Bush didn't have a thing in the world to do with the rise in oil prices. I know for a fact that it was Bill Clinton who planned and instigated it. All liberals like him ain't a thing in this world but tree-hugging sodomite socialist liberal atheist pro-abortion anti-American commies. Hitler's Germany had the right idea: send all liberals to concentration camps and work 'em to death, or use them instead of monkeys for medical experiments.

Pure coincidence.
By the way, I see prices have started to drop. Today, 2.999 a gal down from 3.099 on Friday.

You can thank the oil companies for that. It has nothing to do with cons or libs just oil companies. I live close to one and I know too many people that work there.
