I have a betta fish at work and I worked Saturday morning and fed him. I have not been to work since then, we were closed Sunday and today. Do you think he will be o.k. until I can feed him tomorrow morning?

Darkfish - the only time my betta normally ever goes without food is on Sunday. It just happened to be a three day weekend and I did not make it in today real quick to feed him. Also, please learn to spell before answering questions.

Sure, an otherwise healthy fish can go days without food. Weekends without food will not be a problem at all for him.

First, i would recommend keeping fish were you cann't see them and take care of. Like putting you in room an donly seeing you when i'm doing a job. He will be ok, fish in the wild don't eat in weeks.ALtho you have to be a careful and you have to feed it at least one's a day to get him/her happy!

For sure.

Fish can go more than 2 weeks without eating.
